Born into this life, July 2, 1942 as Gail Ann McKirchy. Beloved daughter of the late Jane M. McKirchy, nee Griffin and James R. McKirchy. Devoted grand-daughter of Mary (Mamie) Griffin. Loving niece to the late Gwedolyn and Sheridan Lampe and the late Catherine and Edward Holland. Devoted cousin to Larry Holland (Ed Galka), Tracy Klinsky (Steven), Rita Holland, Linda Holland, Diane Tolson, Barbara Lippert (Keith) and their families.

Born into this life, July 2, 1942 as Gail Ann McKirchy. Beloved daughter of the late Jane M. McKirchy, nee Griffin and James R. McKirchy. Devoted grand-daughter of Mary (Mamie) Griffin. Loving niece to the late Gwedolyn and Sheridan Lampe and the late Catherine and Edward Holland. Devoted cousin to Larry Holland (Ed Galka), Tracy Klinsky (Steven), Rita Holland, Linda Holland, Diane Tolson, Barbara Lippert (Keith) and their families.



Gail entered religious life on September 7, 1961 in Wheaton, Illinois. She became a member of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary where she faithfully ministered to her sisters and to all those associated with her various ministries. Throughout her 55 years of religious life, Sr. Jane’s ministry included Catholic School teacher, school secretary, Liturgy and Music Coordinator at Holy Spirit Parish, Sacramento, Registrar at Loretto High School, Director of Loaves & Fishes Hope House-AIDS Hospice, Mustardseed School, Community Formation Director, Board of Directors/Staff member at Wellspring Women’s Center, Music Minister at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Mercy General Hospital volunteer, No One Dies Alone program companion through Mercy Hospital, Rainbows program at St. Patrick Academy, and a passionate supporter of the IBVM Associate ministry.



Cherished by her loving IBVM community and her many loving friends. Lifelong lover of her dogs: Yoshiek, Chaddie, Carlie, Allie, and Bailey.



All services will be held at St. Francis Church. Visitation will be Thursday, June 22nd from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. The funeral Mass will be on Friday, June 23rd at 6:00 p.m. with light refreshments following.
